ISSUESPA.NET CAMPAIGN FOR THE ISSUES

As the candidates and the voters prepare for the upcoming gubernatorial election, IssuesPA will be here with insight and analysis on the issues that will be on the minds of voters – and on the lips of candidates.

In the coming months, we will outline the basics on key issues including Health Care, Community Vitality, Education, Economic Climate, and Governance. This week, we begin with a close look at health care.

HEALTH CARE: COST, ACCESS, QUALITY – AND THE STATE’S ROLE

Health care is on the minds of Pennsylvanians. Time and time again, health care issues – access, cost, and quality – emerge as important to Pennsylvanians. And the most recent IssuesPA/Pew Poll shows that health care is on the minds of voters – and particularly swing voters – as an important issue that could impact their votes in the November 2006 governor’s race.

This week on IssuesPA.net, read about the basic health care issues facing state government, employers, and individuals statewide.
